Our Vision: Contra Costa’s young children will be healthy, ready to learn and supported in safe, nurturing families and communities.

The Bay Point First 5 Center has moved to 3225 Willow Pass Road, where it continues to provide free classes and programs to help parents and caregivers bond with their children, from birth to age five. At least 15 different classes are offered onsite each month, including classes on family literacy, health and nutrition, parent education topics, baby sign language, and dance and movement.

The new space will help the Center to reach even more families and provide a greater menu of classes because it will be open afternoons and evenings five days a week, and on occasional weekends.

The Bay Point First 5 Center is operated by the Family Stress Center, a community-based organization that has provided counseling, educational and support services to Contra Costa children and their families for thirty years.
